Summer 2026

Virginia United is a summer lacrosse player program for rising 8th through 12 grade

players. Some lacrosse experience is required.

Team registration is now available. We register 30 girls for our summer camp a 10 - 2 hour sessions. Check the dates and be sure you can attend enough to make it a positive experience for you. To register, please send this information :

Your name, e-mail, grade this coming September, school, and lacrosse experience
to
rdesomma@aol.com  so you can receive all of our e-mail communications. As we

get closer to June you will receive more instruction on how to complete the registration process with some additional forms.

Practices will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm on five weekdays and noon to 2:00 on five Saturday's .

at John Lewis High School (near Springfield Mall).

The dates are June 24, 27 - July 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29 - Aug 1

Cost is $80 - Virginia United is a not for profit girls lacrosse training program.

All girls interested in improving their skills and lacrosse level are welcome to work with us. Our program was founded on the core principle that teaching fundamentals is the key to success at all levels. We have had many girls, at all levels in their career, who by the end of camp have been happy and enthusiastic they have attended, for the positive experience it has been, for the personal attention they received, and how much they increased their 'love of the game' and lacrosse IQ.

Notice about summer weather - thunderstorms are prevalent in the summer. I closely monitor the weather forecast on practice days. My goal is to send you a message if we will be receiving thunderstorms during our practice time, to try to save you from driving to the school unnecessarily. It's tricky and sometimes I'm not sure and it's tough to predict. That's the reason half our practices are on a Saturday, noon to 2:00. To reduce the 6:00 to 8:00 early evening challenges of thunderstorm events of summer.
